Where the hell did our country go?
It’s only remnants of its former glory
Now a Frankenstein monster, a fake reality show
Seemingly the end to our 2 4 3-year-old story
I refuse to pledge allegiance to this piece of human refuse
Bowing down is beyond perilous, to submit is to be careless
We must band together and repel this clear and present abuse
Of power, of fairness, of kindness, awareness
Let’s put country over party
This is no time for celebration
Don’t pop champagne and think you’re hardy
While our funds decline in deep depreciation
Still, the newscasters claim this is all “unprecedented”
No one dares to make the claim—we’ve been duped, misrepresented, ravaged, and
Un-Presidented.
