My name is Tom and I’m thrilled to be joining the Lutrinae for my first semester as a staff writer! I transferred to CSUMB as a third-year HCOM major with a journalism concentration because I believe in the power of the press to inspire, entertain and illuminate. I try to travel as much as possible and love writing stories about the world around me. When I’m not on campus, you might catch me working part-time at the Monterey Bay Aquarium (shoutout!) or around town on the Peninsula.
