Otterlands is an annual concert held at Cal State Monterey Bay (CSUMB) hosted by Associated Students (AS), that features a half day’s worth of music and entertainment. This Friday, Flipp Dinero will be the headliner for the main show with student-artist Pak Joko and DJ Baby Dizzle opening.
Fourth-year Cyan Erdita, known professionally as Pak Joko, said students can expect another high-energy performance from him as a show opener.
“I’m gonna be well prepared this week leading up to the performance … I’m also going to be working on my stage dance moves for a song – I need the crowd to go crazy,” said Erdita. “That’s hopefully what you can expect, is a very well-put together show. And honestly, with all due respect, I’m trying to have the crowd more lit for my set than the actual opening or the headliner.”
The main show will be held in the Otter Student Union (OSU) Ballroom with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and will run until 10 p.m. Tickets are free to students, and each student can purchase one guest ticket for $20. Tickets can be picked up at the AS Box Office (OSU room 304).
Before the main show, don’t forget to catch the pre-festival, hosted by Otter Media, showcasing various student-artists from 3-6 p.m. at Divarty Quad (stage 1) and in front of the OSU (stage 2).
