Otters paint pumpkins at Ottumn Festival

Students gathered in Divarty Quad on Oct. 19 for pumpkin decorating and other fall-themed festivities for the second annual Ottumn Festival, an event hosted by the Residential Housing Association (RHA).

Ottumn Festival had over 300 registered attendees on MyRaft. From 3 to 5 p.m. the Ottumn Festival featured crafts by Makerspace, the RHA Pumpkin Patch, fall-themed snacks, and more to get the California State University Monterey Bay community in the “ottumn” spirit.

Throughout the event, students grabbed free pumpkins from RHA’s pumpkin patch and scattered throughout Divarty Quad to decorate them. Paint, foam, and other materials were provided to let students bring their pumpkin masterpieces to life.
