Otters beat Stanislaus State Warriors

The California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) Otters went up against the Stanislaus State Warriors in the third part of a four-game series on Saturday, April 16.

The game had a somewhat slow start, but by the bottom of the third inning when the Otters jumped to the lead with two runs.

By the top of the sixth inning, the game was tied 4-4 after Stanislaus came through with a three-run play. CSUMB’s Alyssa Burt (#35) rallied for the Otters with a two-run triple-deep into right field with two outs on the board, followed by Jensen Main (#6) finishing off the inning with a seventh run.

The inning was followed by a scoreless seventh from Stanislaus, ending the game early with a final score of 4-7, favoring the Otters.
