Cookie decorating for St. Patrick’s Day

First-Year Housing Resident Advisor Brooklyn Greene hosted a Shamrock Social event in Avocet Hall for residents at California State University, Monterey Bay on March 18.

Greene organized the event as an opportunity for students to socialize and decorate some St. Patrick’s Day-themed cookies.

The event was intended to be casual and fun for the students who attended.

Greene baked the cookies herself in Avocet’s kitchen right before the event, so they were still warm for the attendees. She also supplied students with different colored frosting and sprinkles to decorate their cookies with.

Greene took photos of every student’s cookie, after they finished decorating it. The student with the best cookie would later be contacted by Greene and win a St. Patrick’s Day-themed gift basket.
