Connect with Monterey Bay entrepreneurs

Startup Monterey Bay held a virtual event for students to hear from aspiring entrepreneurs, learn about local startup companies around Monterey County, receive help, advice and inspiration on Oct. 14.

The event included speakers from Monterey Bay Drone, Animation and Robotics Technology (DART), California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB), UC Santa Cruz, UC agriculture and natural resources and the Natural Reserve System.

The theme for this meeting was robotics, drones and animation, and had DART co-founders Josh Metz and Chris Bley speak on the growth of their company.

Startup Monterey Bay is a company that offers local businesses and small companies in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito resources, training and workshops to connect and grow.
