Upcoming concerts

With all of the recent albums having been released, November and December are busy months for concerts in the Bay Area.

Mitski is performing on Nov. 3 at The Warfield in San Francisco in promotion of her latest album, “Be the Cowboy,” released on Aug. 17. Frankie Cosmos is performing at The Fillmore in San Francisco on Nov. 5, while touring her most recent album, “Being Alive,” which was released on Aug. 2. Los Campesinos! Is also performing on Nov. 5 in San Francisco at August Hall.

On Nov. 7, Yellow Days is performing at Slim’s in San Francisco. Although a new album has yet to be announced, two singles have already been released – “The Way Things Change” and “How Can I Love You?” Black Lips is performing at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on Nov. 9.

Khruangbin is performing on Nov. 9 at the Fox Theater in Oakland and on Nov. 13 at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz. Their most recent single, “Christmas Time Is Here,” was released on Oct. 23, from the release of their upcoming 7” vinyl on Nov. 16. Rex Orange County has a two-night residency at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on Nov. 15-16. Todd Rundgren is performing on Nov. 16 in Monterey at the Golden State Theatre.

CHERUB is performing in San Francisco at The Fillmore on Nov. 16 and in Santa Cruz at The Catalyst on Nov. 17. Since April, the duo from Nashville, Tennessee has released five singles – “All in,” “Dancin’ Shoes,” “Body Language,” “Want That” and “So What?” DIIV is performing on Nov. 17 at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz. Fleetwood Mac is performing at the SAP Center in San Jose on Nov. 21 and at the Oracle Arena in Oakland on Nov. 25.

On Dec. 6, John Maus is performing at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, following the release of his latest album, “Addendum,” on May 18. The Buttertones and Tracy Bryant are also performing at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz on Dec. 8. The Buttertones released their fourth studio album on May 4, “Midnight in a Moonless Dream,” as well as a single, “Madame Supreme,” released on Oct. 12.

Not So Silent Night is taking place at the SAP Center in San Jose on Dec. 8 and features artists including Florence and the Machine, Death Cab for Cutie, Young the Giant, Bastille, CHVRCHES, The Struts and Elle King. Peter Bjorn and John are performing on Dec. 9 in San Francisco at The Independent in promotion of their most recent album, “Darker Days,’ released on Oct. 19. On Dec. 12, Kurt Vile is touring his newest album, “Bottle It In,” released on Oct. 12, in Oakland at the Fox Theater. Childish Gambino is also performing on Dec. 12 at the SAP Center in San Jose.
