Are you a first-time voter?

There are two ways to vote: in person at your nearest polling place and by mail.

With voting coming to an end, students need the right resources to know what steps to take next and how their votes can make an impact.

The deadline to request a mail-in ballot has passed, but students can still submit their mail-in ballots if they have them or vote in-person.

The nearest polling place is the Nancy Dodd Center, located at 3043 Macarthur Dr. Marina, CA 93933, and their hours are from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

For those who’s ballot was sent home and are at school, you can always either get it sent to you or go to the in-person polls.

California State University Monterey Bay provides different opportunities for students to register to vote and also information about the elections.

You can go to the website provided by the school that shows you videos of how to vote and tips for first-time voters.
