Downtown Monterey
Downtown Monterey is a popular spot that locals frequent and a scenic destination for photos. Golden State Theatre, is a notable venue in downtown that encapsulates a retro and nostalgic look through its architecture and grand sign. At night, the trees along the street are covered in beautiful lights making it a perfect place to snap an eye-catching photo.
To add some excitement to your Instagram stories, there are a variety of fun stops and shops. There are cafes with unique coffees and matchas, various restaurants from different cuisines and a pottery painting shop. Each Tuesday, there is a farmers market with vendors selling fresh fruit, colorful flowers and handmade goods, making downtown Monterey a great place to snap photos of unique finds.

Del Monte Beach
Del Monte Beach in Monterey, next to an off-the-beaten track coastal community, is the perfect location for your golden hour sunset pictures to brighten up your grid. The beach has the perfect view of the sun and has a breathtaking view of the ocean. Del Monte Beach is the ideal spot to capture shots of a friendly picnic, a peaceful stroll or hanging out with friends.

The Xocolatl Garden
The Xocolatl Garden on Ocean Avenue in Carmel is a hidden gem that is picture perfect. Upon entrance, there is a stone path with lights and flourishing vines of leaves. Once in the garden, there are various greenery and plants, adorable animal-shaped statues and water fountains. This peaceful area is a great setting for photos of yourself and the scenery.
Outside of Xoclatl Garden, Ocean Avenue in Carmel has amazing scenery and unique architecture that encapsulates a dreamy cottage-like fairytale. Besides the views, there are many fun stops of boutiques with hand-crafted works, cozy cafes, and candy shops with delicious sweet treat options to share pictures of with your followers.

Cannery Row
Cannery Row is a famous attraction because of its unique attractions and charming streets. The colorful signs, dazzling restaurants, and matchless architecture make Cannery Row full of endless Instagram possibilities. The famous Ghiradelli shop has an outside balcony and delightful desserts making it a flawless combination for charming photos. While Cannery Row is great all times of the day, the street is a dreamy scene at night because of the lights surrounding the buildings and the bridge.
