CSUMB Commencement 2022

California State University Monterey Bay’s (CSUMB) annual commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21, for the graduating class of 2022. The ceremonies will be held in Cardinale Stadium.

Tickets

Commencement tickets and parking permits were available for pickup at the Otter Student Union until May 13. Ticket requests may only be made by candidates and there is a limit of six commencement tickets and two commencement parking passes per candidate.

Tickets are also available by proxy, will-call, and by mail.

The Will Call booth will be located at the World Theater (5260 Sixth Avenue, Seaside, California 93955) and will be staffed on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.

To receive your tickets and parking permits by mail, a form must have been sent before May 1 to be accepted. Any tickets requested after May 1 must be picked up at the Will Call Booth.

Parking permits may be purchased from kiosks located in parking lots across campus or online.

There are specific commencement parking permits required for access to commencement parking areas. All other CSUMB parking permits will not be accepted as a valid pass to commencement parking areas.

Attendees are instructed to enter campus using the Lightfighter Drive exit and utilize General Jim Moore Boulevard at Lightfighter Drive.

While there will be staff on site to direct traffic, attendees can view parking maps beforehand to locate commencement parking areas at https://csumb.edu/map/

Only graduating otters are allowed to enter the field while all guests are expected to head directly to their seats. Seats will be available on a first come, first served basis.

COVID protocols will still be enforced.

Attendees are expected to be masked with a KN95 or N95 while indoors. More information regarding COVID protocol can be found at https://tinyurl.com/CSUMBCOVID19protocols

Alternate Viewing

An alternate viewing site will be available on both May 20 and May 21 at the World Theater, located at 5260 Sixth Ave., Seaside, CA 93955.

Attendees using the alternate viewing site will not be required to purchase tickets and will be able to view the commencement ceremony from indoors.
